We have secured a pre-booked allotment of rooms at the B&B Hotel Orel.
These rooms are held for conference participants until May 15, 2026.
Reservation Process: To book your room, please send your inquiry directly to: sales-maribor@hotelbb.com.
In your email, include the Booking Code CIB W062, your preferred room type, and the number of persons.
Note: After the allotment deadline (May 15), rooms will be subject to current availability, though the booking code should still be mentioned.

The conference venue is located just a short, pleasant walk through the historic city centre of Maribor.

Route: 1. Exit Hotel Orel and head left onto Gosposka ulica or turn slightly towards Slovenska ulica.
2. Walk towards Slomškov trg (the square with the Cathedral).
3. The University of Maribor (Rektorat) is the grand building located at Slomškov trg 15.

From Hotel City Maribor to the University of Maribor (Rectorate)
A scenic walk from the Drava riverfront through the heart of Maribor’s historic old town.
- Distance: approx. 800 meters
- Time: approx. 11 minutes
- Route:
1. Exit Hotel City and head west on Ulica kneza Koclja towards Glavni trg (the Main Square).
2. Cross Glavni trg and continue onto Poštna ulica, one of the city’s most charming pedestrian streets.
3. At the end of Poštna ulica, you will arrive directly at Slomškov trg.
4. The University of Maribor (Rectorate)is located at Slomškov trg 15, on the left side of the square.
