Walking Directions to the Venue

From Hotel City Maribor to the University of Maribor (Rectorate)

A scenic walk from the Drava riverfront through the heart of Maribor’s historic old town.

1. Distance: approx. 800 meters
2. Time: approx. 11 minutes
3. Route:

1.  Exit Hotel City and head west on Ulica kneza Koclja towards Glavni trg (the Main Square).

2. Cross Glavni trg and continue onto Poštna ulica, one of the city’s most charming pedestrian streets.

3. At the end of Poštna ulica, you will arrive directly at Slomškov trg.

4. The University of Maribor (Rectorate)is located at Slomškov trg 15, on the left side of the square.

The conference venue is located just a short, pleasant walk through the historic city centre of Maribor.

• Distance: approx. 400 meters

• Time: approx. 5–6 minutes

• Route: 1. Exit Hotel Orel and head left onto Gosposka ulica or turn slightly towards Slovenska ulica.

  2. Walk towards Slomškov trg (the square with the Cathedral).

   3. The University of Maribor (Rektorat) is the grand building located at Slomškov trg 15.
