Prostorski in programski intervenciji sta zasnovani s pomočjo strateških oblikovalskih pristopov. Zasnova sloni na ideji vzpostavitve glasbenega središča. S prenovo obstoječa stavba glasbene šole dobi nov mestotvorni program (kavarna, glasbeni hostel, notni center) ter deluje kot komplementarni del nove sodobno zasnovane glasbene šole, ki odgovarja prostorskim in programskim potrebam ustanove ter zapolni morfološko vrzel na robu historičnega jedra mesta.«
»The master‘s thesis addresses the urgent need for additional facilities for the music school in Ptuj. Through both the theoretical and project-oriented sections, it presents a comprehensive proposal for the urban regeneration of Ptuj‘s historic core. This encompasses the renovation of the existing music school building located at Dravska ulica 11, as well as the design of a new music school building with a concert hall on a vacant plot of land adjacent to the Drava River. The spatial and programmatic interventions are conceived using strategic design methodologies. The design concept is based on the vision of creating a music centre. The renovation of the existing music school building introduces new urban functions, including a café, music hostel, and sheet music centre. These will complement the newly designed, modern music school, which is tailored to meet the institution’s spatial and programmatic needs, while also addressing the morphological gap at the edge of the historic city centre.«
