He holds a PhD in physics from the University of Zagreb, Croatia. He has 20 years of experimental research experience in condensed matter physics and building physics in academia and 6 years of practical experience in building physics as the head of research and development in a private company. His skills include programming in Python and C, using LaTeX and performing GIS analyses.

He is also co-author of about 30 research papers published in peer-reviewed journals and four books in English, Slovenian and Croatian, most notably “Building Physics, from physical principles to international standards”, which is used worldwide.

He is a keen choir singer and cyclist. He is fluent in English, Slovenian and Croatian and has a basic knowledge of German.
