»Diplomsko delo obravnava geotehnično analizo stabilnosti in konstrukcijsko dimenzioniranje armiranobetonskega podpornega zidu. Pri obravnavanem zidu so bili preverjeni prevrnitev, zdrs, ekscentričnost in nosilnost temeljnih tal, izvedeno pa je bilo tudi dimenzioniranje armature stene. Izračun je bil izveden analitično in s programskim orodjem GEO5 ob uporabi enakih vhodnih podatkov in predpostavk. Rezultati obeh postopkov se zelo dobro ujemajo ter potrjujejo ustreznost izbranega podpornega zidu in armature. Delo poudarja tudi pomen pravilne zasnove drenaže ter razumevanja računskih predpostavk pri uporabi programskih orodij.«
»The diploma thesis presents a geotechnical stability analysis and structural design of a reinforced concrete retaining wall. The analysed wall was checked for overturning, sliding, eccentricity and bearing capacity of the foundation soil, while the required reinforcement of the wall stem was also determined. The calculations were carried out analytically and with the GEO5 software using the same input data and assumptions. The results of both approaches show very good agreement and confirm the adequacy of the selected retaining wall and reinforcement. The thesis also highlights the importance of proper drainage design and of understanding the calculation assumptions when using engineering software.«
