Kratek opis | Description

E-MED izvaja testiranje in potrjevanje rešitev, katerih cilj je povečanje energetske in virovne učinkovitosti javnega prevoza ter zmanjšanje njegovega vpliva na okolje. Ta problem se predvsem dotika lokalnih javnih oblasti, infrastrukture javnega prevoza in ponudnikov energije, pa tudi proizvajalcev električnih vozil. Rešitve E-MED vključujejo orodja za upravljanje voznih parkov, optimizacijo polnjenja ter recikliranje baterij in deževnice, kar prispeva k informiranemu odločanju in učinkovitemu načrtovanju. Z osredotočanjem na potrebe končnih uporabnikov E-MED podpira oblikovanje in uvedbo sistemov električnih avtobusov. Projekt vključuje deset partnerjev, med katerimi so organizacije javnega prevoza, občine in strokovni partnerji, poleg tega pa sodelujejo tudi pridružene organizacije, kot sta UITP in Univerza v Lizboni, da bi izboljšali komunikacijo in prenos znanja.


E-MED conducts testing and validation of solutions aimed at enhancing the energy and resource efficiency of public transportation, ultimately reducing its environmental impact. This issue mainly concerns local public authorities, public transport infrastructure, and energy suppliers, along with manufacturers of electric vehicles. The solutions developed by E-MED encompass tools for fleet management, charging optimization, and the recycling of batteries and rainwater, all of which aid in informed decision-making and effective planning. By prioritizing the needs of end-users, E-MED supports the design and implementation of electric bus systems. The initiative includes ten partners, comprising public transport organizations, municipalities, and expert partners, with additional collaboration from associated organizations like UITP and the University of Lisbon to enhance outreach and knowledge sharing.
