Magistrsko delo raziskuje vlogo arhitekture pri razvoju umetnosti. V teoretičnem delu skozi študije primerov obravnava pomen skupnih prostorov za interakcijo med študenti, saj ti igrajo pomembno vlogo pri spodbujanju ustvarjalnosti, interdisciplinarnega sodelovanja ter sodobnega umetniškega izražanja. V projektnem delu je predstavljena zasnova nove stavbe Akademije umetnosti v Banja Luki. Akademijo sestavljata dva oddelka – likovni in dramski, ki trenutno delujeta v neustreznih prostorskih razmerah. Poseben poudarek bo namenjen tudi vplivu naravnega okolja na pozitivno vzdušje študentov in kakovost njihovega ustvarjalnega procesa, ki se odvija v namensko zasnovanih prostorih za likovno in dramsko študijsko področje, kot so slikarski in kiparski ateljeji, gledališka dvorana ter razstavni prostori. Cilj naloge je razviti arhitekturno zasnovo, ki bo nudila celovito podporo izobraževanju različnih umetniških disciplin, podpirala ustvarjalnost ter hkrati omogočala kakovost študijskega procesa in socialne dinamike med študenti in profesorji.
»The master’s thesis explores the role of architecture in the development of art. In the theoretical part, through case studies, it examines the importance of shared spaces for interaction among students, as these play a significant role in fostering creativity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and contemporary artistic expression. The design section presents a proposal for a new building of the Academy of Arts in Banja Luka. The Academy consists of two departments, fine arts and drama which currently operate under inadequate spatial conditions. Special emphasis is also placed on the influence of the natural environment on students’ well-being and the quality of their creative process, which takes place in purpose-designed spaces for fine arts and drama study fields, such as painting and sculpture studios, a theatre hall, and exhibition spaces. The aim of the thesis is to develop an architectural design that provides comprehensive support for the education of various artistic disciplines, encourages creativity, and at the same time enables a high-quality study process and social interaction between students and professors.«
