Magistrska naloga obravnava celovito prestrukturiranje soseske Nova vas II v Mariboru, zasnovane v 70. letih prejšnjega stoletja. Cilj naloge je izboljšati kakovost bivanja s prestrukturiranjem soseske, zlasti s selitvijo mirujočega prometa pod nivo terena, širitvijo zelenih površin in vključitvijo novih stanovanjskih ter javnih programov. Naloga temelji na analizi trenutnega stanja, pri čemer rešuje težave, kot so degradacija javnih površin in pomanjkanje funkcionalnih parkirnih mest. Zasnova vključuje tudi regeneracijo območja prek novih arhitekturnih konceptov, ki spodbujajo trajnostno rabo prostora ter izboljšujejo urbano povezanost in dostopnost.
»The master thesis deals with the comprehensive restructuring of the Nova vas II neighbourhood in Maribor, designed in the 1970s. The aim of the thesis is to improve the quality of living by restructuring the neighbourhood, in particular by moving stationary traffic below ground level, expanding green spaces and incorporating new housing and public programmes. The task is based on an analysis of the current situation, addressing problems such as the degradation of public spaces and the lack of functional parking spaces. The design also includes the regeneration of the area through new architectural concepts that promote sustainable use of space and improve urban connectivity and accessibility.«
