»Magistrsko delo obravnava prenovo in revitalizacijo kompleksa dvorca Svečina z nekdaj pripadajočim grajskim hlevom oz. konjušnico v kraju Svečina v občini Kungota.
»The master’s thesis deals with the renovation and revitalization of the Svečina manor complex with the former castle stable in the town of Svečina in the Kungota Municipality. It shows solutions for how to assign a new program design and content to the entire complex and the 17th century manor, which will include it in everyday use and contribute to the development of Svečina and the wider area of the Kungota Municipality. The master’s thesis consists of an analytical-theoretical part, which consists of architectural and spatial analyses, and a project part, which includes graphic representations of the existing state and new solutions. Based on architectural and spatial analyses, the location of the complex and its transport accessibility or connectivity are examined and analyzed. The public functions in the narrower and wider area are analyzed, as the manor complex lies in the heart of the unspoiled nature of Svečinske gorice. The conclusion follows that the facility is located in a fairly accessible location, and from the analysis of local tourism we learn that it lies almost in the very heart of local tourism activity. It was the local wine-growing economy and tourism that helped in choosing the proposed new use for the Svečina manor building and the accompanying former castle stable. In addition to the rich wine offer, the area is additionally enriched with a diverse program of cycling and hiking trails, which round off the selection of the new program.«
