»Magistrsko delo ponuja možen odgovor na aktualne stanovanjske izzive različnih generacij – tako mladih kot starejših in tudi socialno šibkejših. Predmet obravnave je zasnova nove stanovanjske soseske in ureditev zelenih površin na zahodnem robu mesta Slovenska Bistrica ob zahodni obvoznici na stiku z industrijskim, urbanim in obmestnim območjem. Idejna zasnova obsega sosesko, ki združuje stanovanjski del (sobivanje), poljavne skupnostne pritlične prostore, poslovni program s coworkingom, javni pritlični program (trgovine, kopirnica, kavarna, bistro, zdravstvena oskrba), stavbo z oskrbovanimi stanovanji ter odprte javne in poljavne površine. Zasnova temelji na načelih sobivanja, trajnostne gradnje in fleksibilnosti. Zasnova soseske izkorišča potenciale danega območja, spodbuja socialno interakcijo med novimi stanovalci in stanovalci sosednjih blokovskih naselij ter vzpostavlja novo centralnost na robu mesta.«
»This master’s thesis offers a possible answer to the current housing challenges faced by different generations-both young and old, as well as the socially disadvantaged. The subject of the thesis is the design of a new residential neighborhood and the arrangement of green spaces on the western edge of the town of Slovenska Bistrica, along the western bypass, at the junction with the industrial, urban, and suburban areas. The conceptual design includes a neighborhood that combines a residential part (cohabitation), semi-public communal ground-floor spaces, a business program with coworking, a public ground-floor program (shops, copy shop, café, bistro, healthcare), a building with assisted apartments, open public and semi-public areas. The design is based on the principles of cohabitation, sustainable construction, and flexibility. The neighborhood design exploits the potential of the area, encourages social interaction between new residents and residents of neighboring apartment blocks, it also establishes a new center on the edge of the town.«
